O.R.T.A. is a U.S. feeder academy for professional soccer in Spain. We develop elite American players, maximize their value, and place them in European professional clubs.
Proof
Sophie Castro — Deportivo Alavés B, 2024. KFF Vllaznia, UEFA Champions League, 2025.
Although she played ECNL and was an ODP national level player for four consecutive years, she did not depend on showcases to get a pro-contract in Spain. She completed the O.R.T.A. professional development program, which is built around European benchmarks — what pro-clubs in Europe actually invest in.
The problem
A U.S. college season runs roughly three months a year. A European academy develops a player for eleven. Over four years that is not a small gap — it is the difference between a player who is ready to sign and a player who is four years behind the ones who are.
By the time an American player finishes her eligibility, her European counterpart has been a professional since eighteen.
The pathway
Your player is assessed against what European clubs actually sign on — not what American showcases measure.
An intensive residential program built to close the technical and tactical gap before she ever steps onto a pitch in Spain.
Placement into a European professional club through the Academy’s network. Guaranteed.
Programs
Six months minimum, depending on her level. Technical foundation and the habits professional clubs look for, built early enough to matter. The most exceptional players at this age do earn trials in Europe — but the bar is genuinely high, and we will tell you honestly where she stands.
Six months. Development to the standard that earns trials with professional clubs in Europe before she graduates high school.
Three months in Fairfax, Virginia, then direct placement with a professional club in Spain.
Complete the O.R.T.A. professional development program and you will be placed with a professional club in Europe. Not "helped." Not "exposed to scouts." Placed.
No American academy makes this promise, because no American academy has the relationships to keep it.
